If you are looking for adrenaline, adventure and an authentic way to explore Guanacaste, the Mountain Excursion is made for you.
Follow your professional guide along dirt roads, up and down hills, across rivers and through the beautiful countryside of Costa Rica. The journey leads into the mountains and finishes at the seasonal Las Pilas Waterfall, where you can capture incredible photos and, depending on weather and seasonal conditions, may have the opportunity to swim.
Along the way, you will pass through local communities and experience a glimpse of rural life in Guanacaste, including traditional countryside homes and landscapes.
Guanacaste's natural environment also creates opportunities for wildlife sightings. Depending on the day, you may see tropical birds, butterflies, monkeys and other native flora and fauna along the route.
Because some sections of the trail can be rugged, we recommend one rider per ATV for the best riding experience. A second passenger may ride behind the driver for an additional cost.
Adventure With Local Knowledge
Our professional guide accompanies you throughout the experience and will advise you about trail conditions, river crossings and whether swimming at the waterfall is appropriate based on current weather and seasonal conditions.
